Mudras for Meditation
In this video, we explore a few hand mudras we can take while meditating.
The main reason we use mudras or "seals" with our hands while in meditation is to create an energetic loop so that the energy is contained within the body, as well as to take different "attitudes" symbolized in the hands that stimulate and translate to the brain.
You might find yourself naturally taking certain mudras in meditation that you did not realize were already practiced in the yogi tradition for different purposes. Find out if that's the case for you!
We explore chin mudra, dhyana mudra, jnana mudra and relaxed fingers interlaced.
